Parking

The village hall does not have designated parking. There is limited free parking in the village Square (PL26 6DA), or alternatively there is a pay and display car park off West End (PL26 6BX) opposite the Ocean Sports shop. Parking in the village can be very busy during the summer season, so it is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure there are sufficient parking arrangements for their booking.

Accessibility

The main hall is accessed by a small flight of stairs, on which a external lift has recently been installed for improved access to the building. There are instructions on how to operate the lift in the noticeboard on the front of the building, however if you would like a demonstration, please get in touch prior to your booking and one of the Hall trustees can show you the process. Once inside the hall, the floor is level throughout but the doors to the kitchen and WC are of a standard width (762mm or 30 inches).

There is a hearing loop in the main hall for those who wear hearing aids should they need it, and a lapel microphone is available to amplify a voice through the speakers at the front of the hall. Should you require assistance with these facilities, get in touch with a Hall trustee prior to your booking and they can provide guidance.
